FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which liquids can be shipped in a flexitank?
Non-hazardous liquids: vegetable oils, food liquids, lubricants, glycols and many industrial chemicals. Hazardous (IMDG) products require ISO tanks instead.
What volume fits in one 20 ft container?
Depending on density, 16 to 24 m³ (roughly 18–24 tonnes). We size the tank to your product.
Who installs the flexitank?
Our certified fitters install and inspect the tank at your loading site or a partner terminal.
Can flexitanks travel by rail?
Yes — with reinforced containers and rail-approved tanks we ship regularly to China, the Baltics and the Caucasus.
What happens with the tank after discharge?
Flexitanks are single-use; we arrange collection and recycling at the destination.
